The Panther Fire was reported on July 2, 2025, at 2:37 PM. The Gila Las Cruces Type 3 Incident Management Team assumed command of this fire on July 4, 2025.
As of July 9, 2025: The Gila Las Cruces Type 3 Team will turn over the management of the fires to the Gila National Forest at 6:00 p.m. today.
