This system helps us get you critical updates, such as evacuation information, as quickly as possible. In an effort to quickly communicate information on impending dangers, the San Bernardino County Sheriff and Fire Departments send high-speed mass notifications via telephone and text messages. This system is known as the Telephone Emergency Notification System (TENS).The County uses a database of landline telephone numbers, which is updated every six months, to send emergency messages to landline phones only. By signing up, residents can also receive emergency text messages on their cell phones, add voice over internet phone numbers (V.O.I.P.), and manage their own account using a valid email address. Those without internet connections can sign up by calling 2-1-1 or (888) 435-7565ROAD CLOSURES: Plan ahead on State Highways - Visit Division of Traffic Operations - Road Information - California Highway Information ]SR-330 closed both directions from Highland Ave to Live Oak. Fire crews still active in the area. Caltrans crews started assessing damages and will continue those operations today as well. There is no ETA for reopening the route at this time.FOREST CLOSURE ORDERS:  San Bernardino issued Forest Order NO. 05-12-00-24-10, creating a Forest Closure Area around the Line Fire. All National Forest lands, trails, and roads are closed to the public within that zone. Please know what these orders are reviewed frequently, will grow or shrink as needed based on the size and risks associated with the fire.  DRONE SAFETY - KNOW WHERE YOU CAN FLY:  Drones pose a serious risk to firefighting and can cause air operations to cease. When drones interfere with firefighting efforts, a wildfire has the potential to grow larger and cause more damage. For more information on drones the public can visit the FAA’s website at Home - Know Before You Fly . “If you fly, we can’t!”
